The Labour Party used to recognise climate migration. Back in 2019, under the leadership of Jeremy Corbyn, it proposed a 7-page policy on
climate migration with a climate justice lens. Now, the Labour Government pretends it doesn’t exist, and does very little for climate
migration. It has pledged £11.6 billion in funding, a goal it is likely to meet, but only through double counting official development
